Scrutineering checklist

Hi everyone! Thought I'd compile a list together with some contributions for us to use when we're going to buy our models.

- All logos in place and alignment not out by 1-2 deg to the horizon.
- At least 3/4 of all wheel logos centered or very close to center of wheels.
- No scratches (or even small ones) on the paintwork. Most telling will be on black.
- No miscolourings on the paintwork.
- No bubbles on plastic moulded parts due to painting or dodgy manufacturing process.
- Shutlines even throughout, with no overly out-of-scale gaps.
- No blemishes or mould on the tyres.
- No scratches on wheels.
- Properly glued/screwed on parts like the bumpers (for AA esp since theirs is plastic).
- No broken or missing windscreen wipers.
- No loose parts like rear wing, side mirrors or the reflective mirror surface.
- No missing extra brake calipers (e.g. like those on some Lambos)
- Properly painted and aligned racing stripes (e.g. Dodge Viper) with very minute or no overspray due to bad masking.
- Fully liveried cars (e.g. HKS Skyline GT-R R32) do not have decals that are "torn" over the door handles or have uncovered areas especially around edges like the tail lights etc.
- No bent, broken or missing tow hooks like those on GT race cars.
- No bent, broken or missing antenna.
- Steering wheel properly glued to the rest of the steering column and turns when the front wheels are steered.

- Wheels must move.
- Workable parts must work, etc pop up lights especially.
- No missing parts
- No mouldy and melting tyres
- All wheels must touch the ground when place on the floor, the model shouldn't be wobbling...
- No paintchips.
- No cracked windows.

- No torn or loose safety belts.
